Interested in what we are doing to improve water quality and litter or protect our coastal habitats?

We are hosting a series of webinars for Local Government staff on our Initiatives 1: Improving water quality and reducing litter and 2: Protecting coastal habitats.

Our Improving water quality and reducing litter webinar in October will cover a variety of projects from estuarine water quality monitoring program to restoring oyster reefs, or helping councils become more fish friendly when undertaking works around waterways. See details below.

Our Delivering healthy coastal habitats webinar in November will have updates on everything from restoring coastal wetlands to reconnecting fish habitats.

Come along to meet our project leads from DPE (Department of Planning and Environment) Office and Environment and Heritage, DPE Planning, DPI Fisheries, Local Land Services and learn about these projects and more.

  • Clean Coastal Catchments research and on ground works
  • Fish friendly workshops for Councils.
