Marine Estate Management Authority - The Authority brings together the heads of government agencies with key marine responsibilities to provide advice to the NSW Government on strategic, evidence-based management of the marine estate.
Marine Estate Expert Knowledge Panel - The Authority is supported by the independent Knowledge Panel which provides independent expert advice spanning ecological, economic and social sciences.
There are six marine parks advisory committees, one for each marine park in NSW. These committees provide a voice for local communities to contribute to the management of the State's marine estate and their local marine park. They engage with local residents and stakeholders, provide a forum for local communities to raise issues and provide valuable feedback to government.
